MARDI GRAS INDIAN TRANSLATION
Techtonic translations of the Mardi Gras Indian suits, with a focus on folding, profiling, and organizing. The first step was a Techtonic Assembly, using plane, frame, and poche to translate the suit. This was followed by a Threshold Pavillion, in which the techniques from the first step influenced the design of a pavilion intended for both public showing and private making in a New Orleans lot.
